I see beyond the glory with this one... it's pure greed! I can respect humbleness. I can respect those who have earned top seats at the table, especially since they are both Grammy world record holders.
However, we don't respect "RocNation" and now my curiosity wonders why are you speaking out now, when you didn't last year in 2023 when Beyoncé became the world record holder? Oh, it's not enough... you all want more, huh?
- Or -
Was there a deal or agreement that went wrong? Did Beyoncé really win her Grammys based on talent and skill, or was it all about money and power?
I spy a strategy. Will we soon see an artist boycott from those who have bought into what they are selling (which is their money, power, and respect)? Will we see a buyout or a new awards show or advisory board with their ruling control?
Jay-Z, have you ever thought that other artists have great talent too? We know you have, since you have your own recording label and Beyoncé does as well. It is possible that artists like Taylor Swift earned their seat at the Grammy table respectfully because their hard work and efforts got them there.
We are living in a forever-changing world, and the lesson to unravel is this: Money and power may get you there, but it doesn't eliminate the competition.
